China GDP Growth Rate (Q4-2022)
China reported higher-than-expected GDP growth for 2022, but this is the second-lowest annual economic growth rate in nearly 50 years.
China's economy grew by 2.9 percent in the fourth quarter of 2022, compared with the previous year, down from the 3.9 percent growth seen in the third quarter.
This brings the economic growth rate for 2022 to 3 per cent, below the 'around 5.5 per cent' target that has long been seen as unattainable because of the coronavirus.
