Honda (HMC) is recalling 2.5 million cars after reporting a fuel pump issue that could put drivers at risk of a crash. This follows Toyota’s (TM) recent recall of 1 million Toyota and Lexus vehicles with airbag issues, and a recall from Tesla’s (TSLA) last week. Autoblog Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore joins Yahoo Finance Live to weigh in on the influx of recalls and what this suggests about the automobile industry. Migliore does not see this recall as a negative, stating “automakers are becoming increasingly proactive,” which will ultimately benefit the customers.
